What would a blog be without the soppy post about an ex.
So to give you some history. I was in highschool and was quite active on a mobile chat system (Remember kids, chatrooms are what we called them before it became "social media")
Through another friend on this system I got the contact for a woman, lets call her A. She and I started talking and through this got to know eachother very well. This is one thing I can credit social media for, and if you read my post on social media you should see my thoughts on this. However it allowed me to open up to her and vice versa. This grew into what I would cal an intense love for her.
So eventually this woman and I met. And what can I say, everything I had pictured about her was true (Although I was 19 at the time so ya...)
From there on it was a really intense relationship. Especially considering that we were doing this over a distance.
Eventually I finished with my studies and started working. I worked very long hours for very little money, and this obviously put a huge strain on our relationship. But I was doing it for us. I had also developed a drinking problem and was later that year delcared a full blown alcoholic. This she never knew, and if she's reading this she now knows. I'm sorry.
She eventually had enough and left me (rightly so) it was then that the drinking began... and up until last year it never really stopped. I still drink from time to time. But not nearly on the scale that I used.
Recently she said she still loved me and wished that we could be together. I am now engaged and very happily so...
Had I not been engaged, I still know that this wouldn't work between us. Our history and our differences make us worlds apart. Im am now ready to settle down. House kids white picket fence the whole enchalada, I know for a fact that she isn't.
My fiance is quite possibly the reason I am still alive. She was my saving grace when I didn't know I needed one. If she decides to leave me I don't quite know what I will do. I am alone in this world without her.
Family is there but I am very estranged from them. Especially since my father's passing. I am moving to a new city in December, so without her, I am completely and utterly alone... kinda sad...

Music
I'm a music fan. I love music. It really used to get me through my day.
When I was single my kickstart was the jam session I had in my car on the way to work. However I've started to lose that.
Let me explain my music taste: It is balls-to-the-wall, heavier than a fatcamp breakfast table, harder than a honeymoon cock more metal thatn your mother's kettle. I like it rough, and If I don't bleed my time was wasted (You see what I did there?)
Why do I like this music? It's real, it's genuine, it's skilled and it shows a side of me that I don't normally get to let out very often. In my job I am required to be this massive corporate douchebag with a carrot lodged up my backside. Don't get me wrong I love my job though! Music lets me express that inner beast that will just as quickly fornicate with your mother and steal her vodka as he would breathe in the morning.
When Britney spears sings it's always about how she wants to bang a dude. Does she ever follow through. After hearing one of her songs, I am not convinced that were I that guys she was serenading, that I would be getting a good ceiling inspection that night...
However when I hear Corey Talyor roar that he is going to slit my throat and fuck the wound, I start weeping for my trachea.
We are surrounded by bullshit people with fake ideals and I really like the sense of reality that my kind of music brings into my life.
Give it a listen...

Social Media
We all have a social media platform in which we confide in on a daily basis. Facebook, Twitter, Linkdin you name it you probably have an account with them.
Now imagine this scenario:
A quiet wednesday evening and a family are sitting down to have dinner. I am a guest at their house. All of a sudden at the dinner table I blurt out "So Jennifer, hows your sex life?" Jennifer being a 14 Year ol school girl.
This would be considered a major invasion of privacy now wouldn't it? However I may be a friend of Jennifers on facebook, and only three days ago, I read about how she got a thorough pipe cleaning from one of the Matric boys. Apparently his bellend is so big it almost ripped her a new one. Her nether regions resembled a bulldog eating vanilla ice cream afterwards etc etc...
Now if I were to go up to her and ask her why she is walking like an A - Frame after reading that post it would be considered highly innapropriate, yet if I were to leave a comment on the post as to her now more regal posture after the above mentioned spine replacement, it would be ok, because I didn't actually ask her.
Now as intriguing as her kidney tickling may have been, whats the difference if I ask her and if I comment on her wall?
Just sit and think how much information you put onto a public platform that would normally never leave the cavernous reaches of your skull let alone be told to a "guy you met at a party" That is essentially what happens. If you post that your vajajay is particularly odorous then that guy you were hoping would rail you the ceiling and laminate your face, will probably not be as keen.
Some people say "When you blog or post or heaven forbid tweet, you do so under a guise of annonimity" This would be true, except the fact that your photo, date of birth, full names, religeous denomination, political views, favourite books, movies and quotations and possibly your preffered brand of anal douche is plastered all over your profile. Yet you still think its hidden to the world!!!
Another really moronic move is that we generally invite our families on our social platforms. We build little family trees and comment on eachother mundane existences. Don't then be shocked when your god fearing family member who you see over christmas and chat about the cell groups you attend, suddenly label you a cum guzzling queen. They are only calling you what you posted to the world you are!!!
So am I a fan of social networks? Of course I am!!! They are amazing tools. The only thing I have against them (and this applies to various items such as cars, motorbikes, kitchen utensils, and sharp objects) are the idiots who are unleashed on these amazing technologies.
On a last note, I find it quite ironic how I managed to complain about social media, through a form of social media!
Nice!
